Harmonizing Your Relationship with Food and Your Body

Soothe your inner critic without judgment and live well.

Your relationship with food and your body is deeply personal, and when it’s fraught with challenges, it can overshadow life’s joys.  Every bite you take or the reflection you see in the mirror can cause internal stress – do any of these resonate with you?

  • Finding yourself in a cycle of negative self-talk and body comparison?

  • Yearning for a balanced relationship with food that celebrates nourishment and joy, rather than restriction?

  • Constantly thinking of food and your weight?

  • Struggling to honor your body’s needs amidst the noise of societal standards?

You’re not alone. And there’s a path forward that’s filled with understanding, empathy, and personalized guidance. A journey towards enjoying more and worrying less. Let’s take that journey together.

Diets give fleeting assurance and a semblance of control. But more often than not, they spiral into a cycle of guilt and emotional eating.

I’m a registered dietitian, food therapist and a certified health coach, and I’m here to support you on your journey.

With over 25 years in the field, my expertise is in deciphering the complex ties between stress, emotion, trauma, food, and body image issues. As a parent, grief coach, and compassionate caregiver, my mission is to alleviate ongoing suffering and empower individuals and families to shed the weight of shame, guilt, and stigma, fostering positive change.

By working together with me, you’ll embark on a journey of understanding flexible choices and honing emotional regulation. You’ll develop a deeper connection with your body, making decisions that resonate with your core values. Through the practice of mindfulness and self-compassion, you’ll begin to feel a greater sense of peace within your body. Discover a growing ease in making food choices, a gradual enhancement of digestion disrupted by stress, the potential to harness energy often overshadowed by internal struggles, and insights into mood fluctuations linked to the gut-brain axis.

Your lifestyle success isn’t confined to our sessions alone.

You can opt for valuable support in between appointments whenever you feel anxious, lost, or overwhelmed.

I advocate for a balanced approach – a world where vegetables, wholesome foods, and mindful treats exist in harmony.

Having witnessed the paramount importance of self-care, I craft personalized strategies to help clients prioritize their well-being, establish boundaries, and assertively say “no” when necessary. This ensures they harness the vitality and health to look after themselves and, subsequently, their loved ones.

An essential aspect of enduring transformation is cultivating gratitude and respect for our bodies. Through coaching, individuals learn to view their bodies as partners in this journey. Transitioning from seeking external validation to internal appreciation is key to acknowledging the power and resilience that lies within.

I offer a haven, shielded from the societal pressures and internalized judgments that so many grapple with. In this space, you’ll discover understanding, empathy, and practical strategies to fortify your confidence, celebrate your individuality, and tend to your health in a manner that feels genuine and rewarding.

By working with me, you’ll master the art of flexible choices and emotional regulation. You’ll learn to tune into your body, making decisions that align with your truth. Through mindfulness and self-compassion, you’ll find solace in your body, experience ease in making food choices, enhance digestion, boost energy, and stabilize moods.
